Problem Note 61185: PROC HPCDM parameter perturbation analysis results are incorrect when the SEVERITYEST= data set contains an offset variable
If you specify the SEVERITYTEST= and NPERTURBEDSAMPLES= options in the PROC HPCDM statement, and the SEVERITYTEST= data set contains an offset variable, the perturbation analysis results are incorrect.
To avoid the problem, create an item store in PROC SEVERITY and use the SEVERITYSTORE=SAS-item-store option instead of the SEVERITYTEST=SAS-data-set option in PROC HPCDM. In addition, the PROC SEVERITY step must satisfy at least one of the following two conditions:
- the SCALEMODEL statement contains an interaction effect or a class effect
- an OUTPUT statement in specified
